My first attempt at writing anything. read and review please!
Crimson droplets fell from where the wires around her wrists had dug in. The young fox +Anima knew her life was soon to end. As the thought was flitting through her barely conscious mind, a demented smiled spread across her face.
'So this is really it...' she thought, tears streaming down her face. She had no idea why the tears had come, it's not like they had the power to do anything. This was the end for her and she knew it. Her vision was beginning to blur and she could feel her consciousness slipping from her grasp. she could hear the faint voices of angels, no, devils calling her name. She tried to reply, but her voice failed to come. The voices were louder now, more distinct, and almost familiar. 'The voices of those I've killed no doubt,' she thought lazily. She had almost completely gone when...
"Kit! Kit wake up!" She opened her eyes to see her three companions looking down at her, hovering over her bed. Gil, a seagull +Anima as well as the youngest of the four, seemed to be the one yelling the loudest, she assumed, since he appeared to be the one that was the most upset. Lily, a tiger +Anima, had her usual worried look about her, but upon closer inspection, she seemed very upset. She was always concerned with the condition of others, so this must have been very nerve-wracking. Even Nelson, a snake +Anima, had a worried almost afraid look on his face.
"Kit are you alright? You were crying out and thrashing about in your sleep and then you went still and started crying softly. What were you dreaming about?" Lily asked her, stroking her hair. She had a very worried tone.
"It's nothing, really. Just a nightmare," Kit told her, a fake smile on her face.
"Nothing my tail, this is the fifth time you've been like this in this month alone, and they seem to be getting more and more frequent. What are they about. you've always just avoided the subject when we've asked you, and you seem to getting more and more distant from us. We've been traveling with one another for nearly a year now, and you've only recently been getting like this. What is there that is so important that you can't tell us?" as the snake spoke, there was true emotion in his voice. Concern and, what? The fox couldn't figure it out in her tired state.
Knock knock "Hey you kids. Keep it down in there, we're trying to sleep."
Some of the other people that we're staying at the inn were getting annoyed with the noise they were causing
"Sorry, we'll keep it down," Lily called out towards the door. "So, what have your- ugh, she's asleep. Well, we'll ask again in the- you guys are out too? You lot are unbelievable. I guess I'll go to bed as well then." She went back to her bed and turned off the lamp by her bed since it was the only one left on. 'Tomorrow, I find out.' she thought, as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
So that's it. My first attempt at A) making characters and B) writing anything that I thought was good enough to post anywhere. Like it, Love it, Hate it, wondering why the hell I typed it in the first place? Reviews are loved (even though i've never had one...)
