Why the blond find it necessary to examine his injury anyway? The idiot was way too comfortable around Kurogane for his liking as it was. But if the mage was so annoying, why hadn't Kurogane pulled his hand out of the other's grasp yet?
He just...didn't feel like moving his injured hand.
It had nothing to do with the fact that his heart was pounding, or that his instinct was to pull Fai's lithe body into his arms.
Nothing at all.
