This was inspired by the comments on a video on a youtube video discussing how Aerith must have completed a full head turn by now and how Cloud should be ordered to "be a good househusband and give her a massage"

A Good Househusband

Cloud knew many things about his wife Aerith. He knew, despite her unlimited amount of pink outfits her favourite colour was, in fact, yellow. He knew that her favourite season was spring because then she could grow her flowers in the garden with the love and tenderness she had saved for them over the harsh winter. But most of all, he knew when she wanted something from him. Sometimes he automatically agreed to give her want she wanted and needed and other times, he preferred to tease her.

Right at this moment, as he tried to read the newspaper, he decided to ignore the feather-like kisses she was placing on a trail from his jaw to his ear. He flicked the page over and continued to read, smirking at her huff of disappointment. But Cloud knew Aerith was never one to give up. Once she had her mind set on something she would do the task right up to the end. And true to her nature, she shifted that little bit closer to him so that her leg brushed against his before she leaned over and started her task again. Cloud sighed and folded up the newspaper before he turned and met her lips in a brief kiss.

"Alright, what is it?" he asked, kissing her again. She smiled sweetly and titled her head to the side.

"What makes you think I want something?" she replied. He raised a disbelieving eyebrow and she sighed. "Okay, you win. Cloud, my neck is killing me!"

"And?" he enquired. She glared at him and picked up the nearest cushion before giving him a whack on the head with it.

"What do you mean 'and'? Jeez, what has happened to all the gentlemen in this world? The ones who look after their wives!" she sighed, causing Cloud to laugh in response and shake his head.

"I'm sorry to have offended you my dear, sweet wife. Let me make it up to you," he teased, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer to him. He gently placed the palms of his hands on her neck, pressing and rubbing gently. She moaned softly and arched back into his touch. "How did you hurt your neck anyway?" he asked after a moment.

She was silent to begin with before she mumbled, "A head turn." Cloud rolled his eyes in answer.

"Why can't you just turn your body around like normal people?" he sighed, putting a little more pressure into his actions. She grinned and reached up to push his hands away. Cloud didn't have time to protest before she leaned forward and captured him in a passionate kiss. When they pulled apart, her grin only widened.

"Because if I did that, how would I ever convince you to give me a massage?" she replied.
