Replacement
Prolouge:
Captains of their respective divisions made their way to the commander captain's barrack. Commander captain Yamamoto, the current head of the Gotei 13 called on his captains for a very special meeting. As the captains were slowly completed, Commander Yamamoto made his way to his respective place above his underlings.
"As you have all known, Aizen has recently left and the position for captain in the fifth division is currently vacant, and I, would want that to change" commander Yamamoto started their meeting.
"And who do you foresee fitting this position?" captain Unohana inquired.
"'bout time someone fill that damn position" captain Zaraki muttered.
"Yes, I must admit that Aizen was a great loss here in Gotei 13, his talents, intellect and ability to stay calm no matter what is immense"
"Immense? If I recall so captain you used to remark Aizen as formidable, why a sudden change of adjective sir,?" Captain Kurotsuchi asked
"Yes, I first believed that the position Aizen left would be impossible to fill, because Aizen lead a great path, it had been hard yes, if I may admit myself, but it was definitely not impossible, for I have found someone far more greater that Aizen, skills, wisdom, talent, and all exceeds far more greater than Aizen could have shown, I have never thought I would produce a shinigami such powerful as this"
"And who is it sir?" Hiysuyaga inquired.
"That person is my third sitter, Ureha Aishea," the commander announced. Everyone was silent, calculating their words, cautious not to offend their commnder.
"but sir, I must say that I do not agree. Sgt. Lt. Ureha has no experience in battles, I rarely see her"
"Yes, and she has no medical records with me, in addition she is from the Ureha house of nobles, the only household that bears direct linage to the king, surely this will anger not only the house of Ureha but the king itself"
"And she is the only heir of the Ureha, promoting her as a captain would be a catastrophe"
The captains bickered their comments one after the other and their commander grew sick of it, he raise his hand right hand.
"Captain Kuchiki, you are silent" Yamamoto asked. Surely everyone knew Byakuya's reason for silence. The Kuchikis and the Urehas has been enemies for as long as they can remember and the said future captain is the current head of the house and so is he in his respective house. Though they have not personally met, a grudge was inevitable.
"What do you think of the new captain"
"I have not personally met her so I have no solid opinion, but as of what I heard in the house of Ureha's she was the most powerful" Byakuya said
"That is settled then sgt. Lt. Ureha will be captain Ureha of the fifth division, effective tomorrow, meeting dismissed"
And that is how I got promoted captain of the well known division. I never knew that this will be the beginning of the best and worst catastrophe in my life.
