"Shawn!"

Shawn spun around in the sand, Juliet behind him. It was new cop with his friend and they were running up the beach to them. New cop waved at them with the arm that had his "grandma" tattooed on it. Shawn still believed that it was really his dog. It was a beautiful dog. He didn't see why he was so defended about it.

"Jules, look! It's new cop."

Juliet rolled her eyes at him. "Shawn, his name is Scott."

Shawn stuck his tongue out at her. "Do you know his friends name too?"

"No."

New cop came to a stop in front of them, his friend right behind him.

"Hey Shawn. What are you two doing out here?" New cop asked.

"Tanning on the beautiful beach and making new friends with crabs. Seriously though, some have been getting too close and personal. They have problems." Juliet rolled her eyes but giggled. New cop laughed and his friend gave a small smile.

Shawn took in the sight. New cops friend had on a speedo, barely PG-13. He gave a questionable but amused glance at new cop and then back at his friend.

"Ah, Shawn and Juliet. This is my friend Pete. He was the one that I was telling you about Shawn. And I just think that you two would be absolutely perfect for each other. Pete, this is Shawn, you'll love him!"

Shawn didn't have time to react. Neither did Juliet before New cop dragged her away. She was trying to stop him but he had a strong grip on her and dragged her all the way to the bar. Leaving Shawn and Pete alone. Together.

Shawn nervously rubbed the back of his neck, feeling incredibly awkward standing there in just his swimming trunks.

"So Shawn-"

Shawn put his hands up. "No. I am not gay. New cop is mistaken. I don't go that way." Shawn looked up. Pete looked at him and smirked, placing his hands on his hips.

"Really now, there's no need to be shy. We can go somewhere else more, private."

Oh my God, Shawn thought to himself. He is seriously gonna rape me in a dark ally, isn't he?

Shawn backed away slowly, nervous. "Yea, you see, no. I'm dating Jules. The girl that was here." He still had his hands up, backing up ever so slowly.

"I was told that you were gay and into some pretty naughty things. Four people in an alley way?"

"Nooooo, no. You see..." Shawn looked sideways before sighing. "Oh, fuck it!" He ran for it.

Pete blinked and watched as Shawn got smaller. "Hey, Wait! Shawn!" Pete ran after him.
