I present you with an OC that may be rather entertaining later on but for now he'll just be cocky. please comment, I love it when people comment, I don't even mind flames (they help keep me warm in the winter) and i really want to know what you guys and girls think.

the sun shone brightly upon the busy city below. people hustled and bustled past the quaint café that sat below the morre detective agency. a boy in his late teens sat in one of the booths next to the window sipping a cup of coffee and staring broadly out the main window at the newspaper dispenser. he was wearing a blue hoodie and black sweatpants that had a white stripe down each side they matched his black and white converses, his hood sat lazily over his windswept hair that was short and deep chestnut. his greenish blue eyes watched as a kid with glasses in a blue blazer and red bowtie halt in front of the newspaper dispenser, grabbed a copy and run back up the stairs of the detective agency. the teen smiled and snickered quietly as he took another sip of his coffee.
a few minutes later a woman in her early twenties adorning a white lab coat walked into the cafe and sat across from the teen. she propped her head on her hand and stared at him. he looked back but simply took another sip of his coffee.
"so, how's the fishing been?" she asked
"good, actually I think I may have caught a big one a little while ago" he answered back
"oh?" she inquired
"yeah, and it seems like the sleeping sleuth is going to join in" he replied with a smile
"are you sure you're ready for this? I hear he's pretty good at things like this"
"relax, he'd have to catch up long before he could even hope to catch me" he smiled widely, she responded with a slight glare. he ignored the glare and continued "besides he's not the one I should be worried about. apparently the news got all the way to osaka this time"
"let me guess, the high school detective of the west is joining in on it too"
"looks like" he replied and smiled madly, sighing he pouted slightly "too bad that kudo couldn't join in"
"i know you wanted to go against the great high school detective of the east, but doing that so early in the game would be disastrous"
"I know, but it would have been cool to go against someone who almost outsmarted my idol and rival" he sighed and got up from his seat "anyway, i should get going, i need to get ready anyway"
she watched as he left glancing back once more at the newspaper smiling. the headline read: "Kaitou Kid copycat, or a thief of his own design?" underneath the bold red letters was a picture of a lightly crumpled note that read:
the dazzling blue moon shines its brightest
on the witching hour
the ripped garment shall be shown.
red flags wave in the wind
as my fangs drip red with blood.
sitting on the throne
the droplet of violet water holding the sun shall vanish
leaving an empty stage.
empty no longer
as the Demon Thief takes the stage
it finishes with a drawing of an elongated bat with its wings shadowing the body bright red eyes shining through and a golden bell on the tip if the tail, all in front of a golden crescent moon. "~ come and get me if you can detectives" written just below the bat.
