Author's note: I don't know what brought this on. I just thought, "Hey, I should write a story about the girl Shiori would've had if Kurama hadn't possesed the unborn child." If you hate it, deal. If you like it, I'm glad.
Minamino Shizuka would have been great. She would have been excellently talented, wonderfully kind, and quite influential. She would have had a voice that resembled a harp, and that could carry a tune that would make flower grow. She would have excelled in school and all things academic, and she would have bloomed into quite a social butterfly, kind to everyone and everything. She would have been breathtakingly beautiful, with stunning red hair and deep green eyes. And most of all, she would have had a loving mother for whom she would have given her life.
Yes, Minamino Shizuka would have been great, had she lived to be born. But before that could happen, she sacrificed her life for a fox demon in need. And so Shizuka was not great. She still is.
