Title: How They Came to Be

The wedding march started. Tenzo or Yamato as he was known to his non-ANBU team mates placed a hand at the base of his collar as he awaited his bride. Beside him was his best man and on the pew was the Godaime. He remembered how they came to be.
"So what are you trying to imply, Yama- I mean Tenzo?" Sakura asked. "I thought you would have understood what I was trying to say. You know that I love you. I guess all I want to know is if I can even have a chance." He replied looking at the starry skies above. "Maybe..." She answered softly. Tenzo looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Did I hear right?" Sakura nodded. "I said maybe I could love you. You're a very attractive guy, nice too... Heck, I'd even go out with you." Tenzo grinned.
She walked down the aisle holding her bridal bouquet of roses. He can't help but smile at her loveliness.
They were eating parfait one day when Sakura suddenly rose from her booth sit across his and kissed his forehead. "I love you Tenzo." He grinned as he slid down beside her seat and kissed her full on the mouth. "I love you too Sakura..." He murmured happily.
After her father handed her to him, telling him to take care of his little girl and she walked to stand beside him, Sakura smiled sweetly at him.
"If Sasuke were to come back tomorrow, would you still love me this way?" He asked trying to dissolve the growing worry on his mind. Sakura scowled and punched him. Then she started crying. Even up to the time she was healing him. "How can you be such an idiot Tenzo? What I feel for Sasuke, Naruto, Sai and Kakashi is very different from what I feel for you." Yamato merely smiled and pulled her for a kiss. The next day he brought her an engagement ring.
As the ceremony started, Tenzo's musings of how they came to be ended. All that he knew was that from this day onward he'll never be alone again.
