Romilda's Reaction

As Romilda sat, sobbing, on her dormitory bed, in her head she played over and over again what had just happened in the Gryffindor common room.

-Earlier-

She had been standing there in conversation with some third year that, if she had been paying attention to him instead of the entrance to the common room, was practically drooling over her. When finally he, Harry Potter that is, came in. Then before she could join the crowd around him, the Weasley girl ran up and hugged him, and, without letting go, he kissed her! A kiss that seemed to last a lifetime. As her face contorted into a look that even a dementor would be frightened of, she started storming up to her dormitory. The boy asking where she was going, though she barely heard him.

-Now-

And now she just let the tears flow freely. She had always known deep down that Harry had been in love with Ginny, and her knowingness always increased whenever she saw him sneaking glances at her when he thought no one was looking, but she had always tried to ignore it. But now, as she cried herself to sleep, she knew 'the Boy Who Lived' would never be hers.
