Requisition

He was bored and watching Granger sit about reading gigantic tomes about house-elf rebellion was doing nothing for his ability to stay awake.

"Stop reading for two seconds and do something to make Weasley cry."

It was an order and as soon as it left his mouth he smirked proudly at his own brilliance.

"Is that a demand, Malfoy?" Granger questioned scathingly without looking up.

"No Granger," he drawled in reply. "I prefer to call it a requisition."

Hermione looked up at him with raised eyebrows.

"Is that so?" Her face was expressionless but she didn't take her eyes off him for a second.

"Yes," he smirked. "Do something to make Weasley cry."

Hermione blinked and leaned forward slightly.

"No specific way in which you would like me to make Ron cry, Malfoy?"

Draco narrowed his eyes at her, contemplating the question.

He sat back lazily. "No - just make it good…"

Hermione watched him for a moment.

"Okay…"

She gave a short nod and stood from the couch.

"You're sure you have no specifics?" she asked tentatively.

"Just do something, Granger!"

And she kissed him then. It was short, earth shattering and warm and as she drew away she saw not an angry Draco Malfoy like she had expected but a speechless one.

"Was that good?" she asked hesitantly, drawing away.

Draco swallowed thickly, not taking his eyes from her.

"Just what I had in mind…"

Author Notes: I've done it. I have a Harry Potter drabble for every letter of the alphabet. But never fear, I will not stop here!
