He Lives In Us Still
My tribute to Albus Dumbledore.
I see you in the stars that twinkle above,
I hear your voice on the cool night breeze,
You are the light that shows me the way,
Your smiles brighten my day,
As you step lightly through my dreams.
You are not gone from us,
Your essence lingers on
Captured in hearts that love,
And believe still.
Hope touches me,
A tender hand in mine,
A grasp so soft,
So strong, so true.
A chuckle in the dark,
A whisper on the wind,
A sparkle in the eventide,
You drive the night away,
And light it with glory and love.
You live in us still.
Author's Notes
As you've probably guessed by now I'm very slightly obsessed with Albus Dumbledore, and this poem is about what he means to me, but I think it could also be about many other things, such as Harry, or Minerva, or all those countless other people who love Albus, and about how they feel after he is gone. I'm convinced that an essence of Albus still remains in Hogwarts so long as there are still people there who are loyal to him. Please review.
Does anyone know how to make my poem stay in verses on here ?
