Forever&ALWAYS
It wasn't like him to be late, maybe a few minutes, but not hours and especially not on their anniversary, and especially not since he had called her hours earlier asking her to please have dinner ready by the time he got home, because he had a surprise for her. She is definitely sure he would've called if he was going to be this late. She tries to push the thought that something might have happened to him from her mind, as she walks to the window believing she heard his car, but there is no car in the driveway. Feeling a little uneasy she calls Javi and asks has he seen him. "No I'm sorry Beckett," "Why is there something wrong?" She looks back to the window suddenly she hears a beep, she tells him she's gotta go. She answers the phone it's someone with a calm but serious voice saying that something's happened, and she should come right now. As she jumps in her car her mind drifts back to December when he asked her to meet him in Central Park by the swing set. She could tell he had something serious to tell her, sure enough he got down on his knee and said "I want to love you forever, forever and always, through the good the bad and the ugly we'll grow old together forever and always." "After what seems like an eternity she pulls up to the entrance walks up to the front desk, they lead her down a million halls a maze that's never ending." "As they try to explain what happened she can barely hear them." All she can think about is getting to her writer. She tries to compose herself, and "keep a straight face as she walks into the room." He sees her and smiles weakly, she knows she can't let him she her cry. She has to be strong for him. "She sits by his bedside holds his hand too tight." "They talk about the kids they're going have and the good life." Then he tells her about his surprise for her, "the house on the hillside he had just bought for them, where they would stay forever and always." "Through the good the bad and the ugly we'd grow old together forever and always, and always remember whether rich or for poor or for better we'd still love each other forever and always." Trying hard to fight back the tears "she gets an idea calls on the nurses brings in the Chaplin and says a couple verses." "She borrows some rings next door; everybody is laughing as the tears fall on the floor." She looks into his blue eyes that she's loved for so long knowing there are so many things she wants to say to him. Instead she says "I want you forever, forever and always through the good the bad and the ugly we'll grow old together, but always remember whether happy or sad or whatever we'll still love each other forever and always." "She finishes the vows, but the beeps are getting too low, his voice is almost too low." He looks at his beautiful bride, and says "I love you forever, forever and always please just remember even if I'm not there I'll always love you forever and always." She hears the song that shatters her whole world, she kisses him one last time and says "Forever and Always Castle" before she completely breaks down.
