Severus pulled on his robes as he looked over to his wife, who was still sleeping soundly. Severus never liked to wake Hermione. She was far too beautiful to wake up, as Lucius had remarked 2 years ago at their wedding. Just as Severus was about to enter the Great Hall, he was stopped by Dumbledore, who said "Good Morning Severus, I hope you and your wife are well?"
"We are fine Albus, I can assure you." Severus replied quickly as he hurried into the Great Hall. After a few minutes of eating, Severus looked up to see Hermione walking into the hall. She looked set on embarrassing him, but that's why she loved him. She kissed him while some (Bribed) staff sang "SHE LOVES YOU YEH YEH YEH!" (She Loves You by The Beatles). Severus blushed and whispered "No Books tonight then Mrs Snape." Hermione giggled, she loved being called Mrs Snape. But then she scowled, and begged for Mercy (and books.) Everyone headed to classes and nobody dared say a word about it to the infamously grouchy Professor Severus Snape.
That evening, Severus arrived back in his apartment to see Hermione up a ladder at the bookshelf, trying to reach Moste potente potions. A book Severus had put high so that she wouldn't reach it. He sat down on the Slytherin green sofa, and Hermione immediately joined him. "Mamma Mia" she sighed "Queen or Abba?"
"Either. How was your day?" the conversation carried on like this for a while until they were disturbed by a knock on the door. Minerva McGonagall. Hermione opened the door and said "Hello, Minerva! How nice to see you!" She leaned over her shoulder "Darling, It's Minerva!" Severus sulkily walked to the door, and said "Minerva, what the Bloody hell can I do for you?"
"Language, Severus!" Hermione whispered "Quite right Hermione. Severus, I just wanted to let you know that a 7th Year Slytherin has been poisoned, we think. She's been taken to St. Mungo's. It's the only expl-"
"Come in Minerva."
"Sorry Severus, but I really don't have the time."
"Goodbye" The door was shut and Hermione said "let it be Severus, I know which student it is, and I swear I saw her eating some iffy Brighton Rock earlier"
"Who is it?" Severus asked quizzically. "Madonna Regis, most commonly known around the school as Lady Madonna"
"Oh, her." Severus sighed as he got up and headed to the kitchen to make some tea. Hermione giggled as she listened to him as he said the oddest of things. Today was Ob-la-Di, Ob-La-Da. The day carried on as normal, except from Hermione revealing to Severus that she was going to have a baby.
