In silence Roxas stood, looking at Axel with sorrowful eyes.
"You can leave me…" Roxas murmured. Axel's green gaze fell upon Roxas's blue eyes and he gave a little smile.
"We'll see each other again Rox. Trust me," Axel said to his lover. Roxas felt tears well up in his eyes.
"Why do you have to go? Why can't you stay with me?" Roxas pleaded for an answer.
"I told I'm fa-," Axel said but was cut of by a painful gasp. He doubled over, clutching his chest.
"Axel!" Roxas almost yelled, going closer to him. Axel put a hand up, stopping the blonde.
"My time is over, Roxy. I wish to see you soon, in the next world. Promise no to forget me?" Axel said, standing up a little.
"I promise, love." Roxas said and felt hot tears roll down his cheeks. Axel gave a cocky smile.
"Goodbye Rox. I will always love you." Axel said.
"Axel…" Roxas whispered.
"And you know…the funny thing is…even though I don't have one…you made me feel like I had a heart." Axel said then his figure began to fade. Everyone knew that a heartless and a nobody don't have emotions. But Axel seemed different. The last thing Roxas saw was a drop of water fall to the ground. A tear drop fell from Axel's face as he faded. Roxas watched the redhead disappear and began to cry. When Axel was gone, rain began to fall.
Axel I always knew that you had a heart…I knew you had emotions… Roxas thought. A voice in the wind made Roxas shiver, but smile through his tears.
My heart belongs to you, Rox.
