This story is about a Dwarven Miner from the Iron Hills, that dreams that one day he'll join the ranks of the Iron-foot legion. It will tell you all about our main character, Sizuc Metalbringer, from his birth to his middle adulthood. it will also tell you about his findings as a miner and his hardships as he works his way through the Iron-foot ranks.

Prologue

There are many stories about the great heroes of Middle Earth, such as Aragorn King of Gondor and Frodo Baggins, ring bearer and their quest to destroy the One Ring. But, this is not such a story, this story is about a dwarf, and yes you have read that correctly, a dwarf. No not Gimli, a member of the fellowship, but a simple dwarf, Sizuc, a miner of all things, that wants nothing more than to be a soldier and to fight alongside his dwarven brothers. This particular story takes place before, during and a little after a particular battle, and no not just any battle, but The Battle of The Five Armies. Our main character stands at about 4'5" tall with long black hair and a bushy black beard with incriminatingly blue eyes, but don't let his looks fool you. He might not be a legend of old but he has the heart of a warrior and will stop at nothing to prove to everyone that there is more to him than meets the eye. Now, let us begin our journey as we read the story of how a simple dwarf, born into mining, becomes a fearless warrior of the Iron-foot legion.
