Hinata didn't understand she didn't get it she did everything right she ate right, she slept right she lived a completly stress free life she even fucking excersised Hinata never knew how much she wanted that until this happened.
"What did I do wrong? I did everything right, everything!" Hinata cried into Naruto's arms.
"Baby you didn't do anything wrong you were perfect you heard what Sakura said sometimes they just aren't strong enough to survive it had nothing to do with you"Naruto said while tears silently streamed down his face.
"I've never felt so useless in my life I can't do anything my baby he's just gone!"
Hinata was supposed to give birth in 8 months to a healthy baby boy, but she'd never get to see her baby she'd never get to push her experience labor pains.
"I can never do anything right this is karma I deserved this" Hinata was breaking down it pained Naruto to see her like this he was hurting too it hurt him to see her like this.
"Hinata look at me, you didn't deserve any of this no one does you are perfect you are the most perfectest woman in the world you stay home all day and take care of the kids, cook for me even though i'm not home, you even wait for me all night I love you and the kids love you everyone loves you, you sacrifice a lot of things for your family so don't you dare pin this on yourself" Naruto said looking down at Hinata on her hospital bed.
"Mama?" Boruto and Himawari stormed into the hospital room.
"hey baby" Hinata forced a smile on her face but Himawari knew something was wrong. Hinata's eyes were all puffy and red.
Boruto just stood there not knowing what to say he already knew what had happened by the vibe in the room. Tears were flowing and he just fell to the ground sobbing Himawari quickly ran to him.
"Big Brother whats wrong? why are you crying?"Himawari said while tears were burning her eyes she didn't understand why everyone was so sad.
"Hima baby come here" Hinata gestered for Himawari to come "Look I-" Hinata paused she coudn't get the words out "Himawari I lost the baby"Hinata said barley breathing. Himawari started to cry and Naruto picked her up and pulled her into a hug.
"Hima you have to be strong for mommy okay?"Himawari nodded while her face was buried into her chest
Boruto got up to hug Hinata and she just cried into his shoulders and that night the uzumaki household was filled with mourning.
