So here we are with another one shot... So i wanted to something different and this came out. I'm not to sure I truly like the out come of it. but oh well. I hope you enjoy-JasZ
'Once Upon A Time there was a cold hearted King. He kept his heart encased in barriers made of silver and gold. Frighten of the damage that can venture his way. The heart of the Wolf King was beaten Black and Blue by the one he viewed as father. The Wolf King's siblings stood at his side. Disobeying their father and cutting ties.
The Wolf King feared that one day his siblings would turn on him like their father had. So he did things that weren't kind. Nor was he merciful; when they wanted to stray way from him. He hurt his family but they always remained faithful and loyal to him.
The Stag King always did what was right. He never harmed a child. Always there to aide his family: but always siding with his young brother the Wolf King. But unlike him the Stag King only spilled blood if there was no other way to find peace. This noble being hoped that his brother would see the error of his ways and allow him to enter is broken heart.
The Sheep Queen, their little sister, yearned to be free of the troubles that came from being a royal. Wanting a love so true, like the fairy-tales their mother use to whisper to them. Yet she could never grasp it when it was within her reach. The Wolf King would do horrible things to the men. All he wanted the best for her. She saw it differently; she grew restless and turned her back to her brother several times. But when he needs her the most she comes prepared to take down the threat.
The Fox Prince (or King if you'd like) was the youngest of his brothers but older then the Sheep Queen. He would sneak about always trying to outsmart his siblings with little games. He knew things others didn't and that helped greatly when the Wolf King went to war. It made the Wolf King forgive his brother. Yet he didn't know that the Prince had something up his little paw. He was going to take down his brother until he met a little Humming bird.
The eldest of them all was The Boar Prince and he was just that. He was always getting his snout into things he shouldn't He needed to be taken care of. He hurt their sister, the Sheep Queen and took their brother the Fox Prince. Leaving a shattered Humming bird; waiting for her prince to return. The Wolf King went to get aide to avenge his fallen brother.
He went in search to find the Wolf Queen. The wolf Queen was beautiful and demanding. She and the Wolf King always clashed. And only spoke to one another when it came to their little pup. The Queen and her mate, a mutt, had taken the Wolf King's princess to protect her from the Boar Prince. So when he sought them out, he was met with harsh words and threats. He didn't back down. Family was the answer to all their problems.
The Wolf King convinced the Wolf Queen to aide him. Along with The Stag King and Sheep Queen they faced their brother. The little Humming Bird being dainty and lovely did her best to help. Her courage was that of a lion. To avenge the fallen Fox Prince and to protect their little Princess.
The wearying war took a tow, but the outcome was wondrous. The little Princess was not a Wolf like her Parents she was a little Dove. Because of the Little Dove Princess she allowed those around her to finally be at peace. That one's devotion to one another will bring Peace and love. A true understanding of gentleness in their tarnished souls. The little dove was the Wolf King's pride and joy. He would always protect her.
Because the Wolf King allowed his Dove Princess into his heart. Miracles began to happen. The Fox Prince was brought back by the gods. To be with his family, whom he sacrificed his life for. They got to live like a family. To live completely in harmony.'
"Do you know who the little Dove princess is?" Klaus ends the story as a two year old Hope eyes her father with wide eyes.
"Me," She points at herself.
"Yes, my little dove you are." The little girl giggles as she shakes her head.
"That's uncle Kol's name for Auntie Davi!"
"Well, your uncle doesn't own the name. Nor does your 'aunt' mind if I call you that. Seeing that your uncle has many names for her."
"Daddy, Are you the Wolfe?" she mumbles as she snuggles closer to him.
"Yes, I am." He replies as he spots Hayley by the doorway eyeing them.
"Mummy is a Wolfe, too!"
"Mhm, love, she is."
"Why can't I be a wolf?"
"Because you brought us hope and peace, my little dove. That's what Dove's represent now off to bed. Before your mother comes in and tickles you." Klaus presses a kiss to the toddler.
"I love you, daddy."
"I love you too, little dove."
As he steps out of the toddler's room; he turns to face Hayley. Who once again has a smile on her face. She really liked it when he took the time from his busy schedule of being the King of New Orleans. He always takes the time to tell Hope a bed time story. She and Jackson attempted it once and they were greeted by a sobbing two year old. Stating that they didn't know the story only her daddy knows.
"The Wolf and the Dove?" Hayley beams as her hazel eyes shine. "I didn't know you could tell stories like that."
"You don't anything about me other then what I allow you to know, little wolf." Klaus taunts as he saunters to his bedroom with a smirk on his face. He was always full of surprises and he's not going to stop surprising them. He after all is the brother of the Fox Princeā¦
So there it is! I hope you enjoyed this little fairy tale that Papa Klaus read to little Hope. So I made Rebekah Sheep Queen because sheep tend to change and follow. Hope as a Dove because she innocent and brings peace which she did to Klaus. Davina a Humming bird because it's say that not only are they tiny but have the courage of a loin. Lets face it Davina is tiny compared to everyone else and tends to go up against strong beings then herself. On that note: Let me know what you guys think!-JasZ
