Balzac the wanderer had ventured so far from his homeland in the past few years of his life. To satisfy his wanderlust, he stumbled upon plethora of ruins, caverns and untouched wildernesses. He trusty Scimitar never failed to fend him off from countless foes.
That is till he entered Quelaag's domain...
His blood literally froze in its vessel upon seeing the daughter of chaos. Instantly the spider-part spew molten lava at him. Nimbly, he stepped back just in time without harm. Then the chaos witch jumped over him completely knocking him on the ground.
"Ahh, a precious new sacrifice! Such a delicious humanity you have!"
"STOP!" strangely enough, the daughter of chaos seized her final blow; not as if he could overpower her in such pitiful state.
"I-if humanity is what you seek, i-i have plenty of those!" He opened his pouch to reveal small sprites of humanity floating idly "J-just please spare my life!"
Quelaag snatched the black sprite and backed away. It has been so long since her poor sister had her pain-reliving dose of humanity. She stared at the frightened man and decided to plunder his humanity as well till he spoke "I-i can do anything for you. I know the way around in this cursed lands... I know where to set traps and ambushes. I can hunt the living for their humanities just for you! I beg of you,spare my life and it will be yours!"
The man was surprised when the woman laid down her arm. The spider part wasn't too happy though. "Up on your feet" she commanded,Balzac gladly did so.
"Do you swear to serve the daughters of chaos? To gather humanity for our plight?"
"I-i do."
"Then, welcome to our covenant, bringer of sprites."

instead of ruthlessly murdering Quelaag, it would be better lore-wise to have the option of sparing humanity to pass to the second bell. If one doesn't have humanity and/or refuse such offer, one will have a boss fight.
Besides, it will be superb way to join the Chaos servants. I mean imagine further interactions between you and Quelaag and the fair lady. Oh well, I do hope that you guys enjoyed! I am starting to play demon souls X3 stuck at the effing second maneater, any help?
