Rona enter the Torchwood timeline after Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
Backstory: Rona was discovered about 6 years after she was created. Jack Harkness and John Heart stumbled across her while investigating a science facility. After finding out that she was his clone, Jack decided to care for the young girl (John wanted nothing to do with her and only tolerated her because of his love for Jack). After she turned 12, Jack returned to the time agency he then lost two years' worth of memory for failing a mission and the Time Agency went after Rona because they believed that she was the reason that Jack failed. They made Hunting her a priority and told Jack that she had been killed so that he wouldn't interfere with their plans. Rona is then caught by an alien race and held in a prison for 50 years. She is then found by the Doctor and he takes her to Jack.
