A/N: I don't own Bones or any of the characters. If I did... well who knows what would happen.

She misses her. That's what she realised after several shots of something or other at a bar that Ange had shown her. She went there in the hope of seeing her, as it was one of the few she remembered from the many that Angela had dragged her out of the lab to go to.

She wished that she had let Angela know how she really felt, of course she knew about her relationship with Roxie, and she knew definitely that Ange's feelings towards her were not only platonic.

However she missed another chance. With Roxie back in the picture there's no way she could tell her know. They just look so happy together, and they deserve it. Who doesn't deserve happiness outside of their cold profession? Ange needs Roxie to be someone who is very clearly alive, warm and loving.

Someone to look forward to going home and seeing.

Someone to hold the tears as they struggled to find the murderer again.

Someone with feelings.

This is why she could never tell Angela Montenegro that she loved her.
