I don't own Harry Potter
Regrets
Grown up before their time
Still children
Look again
see their eyes
the pain, it shouldn't be there
it looks so wrong in they eyes of someone so young.
Sorrow, guilt
Terror
apathy, grief.
They are the eyes of someone so much older
not the eyes of a child.
Subjected to too much
too young.
should be worrying
about their first crush
their
peers approval
the latest gadgets and brands.
Not
who is trying to hurt them
kill them
now.
They should be protected from the dangers of the world
not protecting others.
You can't give them back what they have lost.
You can't give them
childhood innocence
that they were denied.
You can't fix this anymore.

Author's Notes: Hello, this is the first thing I have posted, which has been on my computer for a while. I wrote this about the regrets of the teachers and adults (especially Dumbledore and Snape), as they looked at the students (especially Harry Ron and Hermione) during and after the second war, wishing that things had been different.
