Subaru grasped the container of the eyeball, what was the only remains of Seishirou, his Seishirou-san, the remains that were just an eyeball, but a part of Seishirou, and to him, that little item, not, part meant a lot- it was the only reason he was still alive, because it was his only link to Seishirou, and the fact that he was there didn't allow him to think or even consider dying for the sake of meeting Seishirou wherever the Dead go, but now… the only thing that was worth staying alive for was the eyeball in the container that was in his hand.
And the one reason that he decided to keep breathing and go through what was supposed to be a life was now in his hand, and it was even ironic how he was holding the reason to his choice not to die, the reason to why he was blinded- because as long as there was something that linked him to Seishirou, Subaru was happy, as Happy as he could possibly be after everything that happened.
