The pain, both burning every nerve in his being and chilling him to the core of every bone in his body was growing. But just before the terrible pain from the eerie green light consumed him, a different light had begun to wash over him. It was a burst of sunlight, although much more powerful. As he looked to the light he saw something beautiful. He thought it might be a person, suspended in mid-air. It appeared to be a woman with fiery red hair, and he heard her whisper, "it's all right now, Harry." The light and the sweet whisper of her voice warmed him, and her knew that she was going to protect him. As the beautiful warm light washed over him he felt the terrible green light fade and he felt peace. He thought all was well until he heard the high pitched voice screech, "A bird hath saved you once before, but this Phoenix lives no more!" He then felt the familiar overwhelming pain and this time heard the scream of a woman that was not his mother.
Harry Potter awoke with a cold sweat. His body was shaking and he swallowed the sob that threatened to rip from his throat. His roomate, Ronald Weasly barely turned in his sleep. The 17-year old Harry gently slipped from his bed and tip-toed out of the room. He relaxed in front of the fire after collapsing onto a soft chair. He finally let out the heavy breath that he had been holding. He had another dream, one about Voldermort. This time it had been different, he had nearly been saved. Was it an angel, or was it his mother? All he knew was that he needed to find out.
