What was wrong with her, she was supposed to wait for Sora. Not run into portals that lead into god knows where, but at least she was away from him. For now. He would catch her again of course, just like he caught Roxas. R o x a s…slipped through his fingers, his non existent heart reminded him. He smirked, opening a portal; he wouldn't let her get away. Not like Roxas, he would catch her and she would be sorry, that she ever stole him away from Axel. She didn't steal him away exactly, but her boyfriend did; that was something he couldn't forgive.
It was a game of cat and mouse; he was very displeased she didn't try to run away, when he grabbed her away. Roxas would have made it more interesting, whipping out his Keyblades and kicking Axel's ass. Kairi wasn't Roxas at all, there far different, yet Axel felt attached to both. Roxas was understandable, but that girl; what the hell? Kairi couldn't fight, she was just a damsel in distress whilst Roxas was neither damsel nor distressed.

He can't compare that girl to Roxas, he can't get attached to her because then he couldn't bring Roxas back. She cried in the dungeon that he had put her in, Roxas would have tried to get out, she gave up and cried. Somewhere in her heart there lied hope that he would save her, how silly hoping, dreaming, wishing it would get her nowhere. She needed to act, do, take charge but she wasn't going to do that. She was going to wait for him, wait for him until he came for her or at least that's what he thought. He would never know that she received help from herself, found the strength to fight and finally met up with him. He would never know that she found her happy ending, because he wouldn't live to see the day.
He was going to fade for him, the one who stole Roxas away; he was going down for this boy. This was Roxas, not the one he knew and loved, but a replica; the original. That was all he needed, then he fell into the darkness, without his happy ending.
