Thunder-Thief
Zekrom still feels the hum of Pikachu's electricity wrapped like a coarse blanket around him. It lingers, even when the electricity from the town has long fled. It scratches at him, even though the clouds have washed off the rest.
He can feel a latent power within that electricity: a great power, like the hero he had once served. But it is also different: a different aura, a different hero – and not Reshiram either. A different sort of hero altogether.
It is not a bad electricity, he decides. It is uncomfortable, yes, but possibly the Pikachu's trainer will counteract that. And now he isn't twitching irritably in the sky, but curious. Curious to know if this means another pair of heroes have risen from the earth.
Either way, he'll be seeing the both of them again, because he needs to get rid of, or give back, the electricity that still clings to him.
