For the Prompt relay challenge (3/15 for station 7)

"I tell myself that you're no good for me.

I wish you well, but desire never leaves."

-"Familiar Taste of Poison"- Halestorm

Not for the first time, Narcissa reminds herself that this is so very wrong. It ought to be Lucius touching her like that, not Rodolphus, not her sister's husband.

"Something wrong?" Rodolphus murmurs, trailing a kiss over her exposed collarbones.

"Yes," she whispers. "This."

He pulls back, amusement clear in his eyes. A smirk dances across his face. "You've never had a problem with this before," he laughs, tucking her blonde hair behind her ear. "Why the sudden change of heart?"

Really, she's always had a problem with what they're doing, even if she's never voiced her feelings aloud. His touch, while so much more passionate than Lucius', has always been so wrong.

"I have a husband."

"And I have a wife," he reminds her, fingers gliding down her spine. "You were in our wedding, remember? You looked so beautiful standing next to Bella."

"You should leave," Narcissa says, moving away from his touch before she gives in to temptation.

He scoffs but climbs to his feet, pulling his shirt on. "As you wish," he mocks. "But you'll be back, Narcissa. Mark my words. You can't stay away from me."

..

She kisses Lucius harder, pulling him against her.

"Cissy," he gasps. "What's gotten into you?"

But Narcissa doesn't answer. She pushes him to the bed, and he follows her lead, moving his hands over her body.

His touch should feel right. He is her husband, and that should make this perfect. But it isn't Rodolphus, and it is so wrong.

..

"Bellatrix isn't here," Rodolphus says when he opens the door. "Another late night with our master."

Narcissa shrugs. "I didn't come here for her," she says, pushing past him, catching him by the wrist and leading him to the bedroom.

"I could fight this til the end

But maybe I don't want to win."
