Pokemon: Royal Circuit

On the shores of Lake Valor, 16 trainers of all ages from the 6 regions of the Pokemon World compete in a tournament of glory and honor. The winner will gain the supreme honor of becoming the World Champion, the strongest trainer under the heavens. This tournament is known as the Pokemon Royal Circuit.

"Attention to trainers across the globe…the Royal Circuit tournament will be taking place in the Sinnoh region. Be ready for it, the tournament will be taking place in two weeks, at the Valor Arena on Lake Valor. Be ready for intense competition."

"Are we off the air?" one man asked? He was maybe 25 or 26, with red hair. He was holding a camera, pointed at a man with a suit.

"Yeah," the suited man replied. He got up, and began to walk out of the Jublife TV building, the cameraman following. They walked out of the city, walking through meadows and caves for a bit. They eventually reached an abandoned blue and gray building in Eterna City. There were weeds growing out of it, and the door had been rusted open. On top of the building were a number of spikes. The pair walked inside the old building. Inside, a woman walked up to the pair. She was wearing a fancy red dress, and looked about 24, with red hair stylized into a pointed bob.

"Is it set?" she asked.

"Yes, ma'am," the cameraman said. "We've announced the tournament on Lake Valor. We're now off to help that inventor guy set up the arena." The two bowed slightly, then turned to leave.

"Remember," the woman said suddenly, stopping the two from leaving. "This is bigger than just us. This is our last chance to reshape the world peacefully. So be careful." The two nodded at her, then left for Lake Valor.

Outside, a young adult, about 16 or 17, with brown hair, had overheard the discussion. He didn't know what it was about, but it definitely sounded ominous. He wouldn't be able to make it into the tournament, not like this, but he knew that he needed to remain on his toes, and he definitely needed to be at Lake Valor. Whatever happened, that was where it was going down. The young adult began the long trek to Lake Valor.
