I just felt like writing the first things that came into my head. It's not much right now but it will be. Enjoy the extremely short beginning.
Slayer
Prologue
Short extract of a old book:
''The Slayer doesn't die. She protected the Earth when monsters walked freely. Yet, she doesn't die. Age doesn't effect her. She worked for the ruler of Egypt but once he was gone, she was forced to...''
Engraved onto stone in a tomb:
''And when he lost, the Evil came. The Slayer stood her ground, knowing the ruler had failed. She raised her arms against the Evil and white light flowed out of her hands. She cried: People of the world, allow me to use your life force and destroy the Evil! Then all people died. Leaving her alive to live with the deaths of many. The ruler's spirit was placed into a talisman so one day he may rise to face the Evil again.''
The girl stood in the middle of the desert, the sun was peeking through black clouds which slowly moved away. She held a triangular object and tears slipped down her face.
''The Pharaoh lost... I had to deal with the consequences. In the end, the Slayer always tidies up the mess. Now there's no one left...''
Yugi shot up, the doorbell just sounded. He left the living room and walked down the hallway. Through the glass, he made out the shape of someone. Obviously taller than him, about... Tea's height? Maybe it was her but she wouldn't come out, especially not in that weather. It was a stormy day and not many left their houses.
He opened the door to find a pretty messed up girl. Her brown-blond hair was plastered to her face and soaked. She was dressed in a long black cloak that only showed her black shoes. She looked down, blue-green eyes frowning.
''I know it's not the right time, but you mind lending me a room for a couple of days?'' she asked.
