As Sere watched her mom and dad go, she thought to herself, something bad is about to happen. But said nothing so as not to worry her little brother. As the day went by she got more and more bad feelings in the pit of her stomach that she just couldn▓t shake off. As she sat in class waiting for the final bell to ring so she could go get her brother from school, the prince bell came in the class and asked her to step out in to the hall way. When she stepped out in to the hall, she saw Sam ask her little brother standing there with big tears in his eyes.
Sere: ⌠What is going on?■
Sam: ⌠MOM AND DAD ARE DEAD!■ Sam yelled, as he started to cry more.
Sere stood there wide eyed for a minute until she collapsed to her knees and collected Sam up in her arms as their mother would have done.
Sere: ⌠How?┘ W-when did it?┘ What am I supposed to do?■ She whispered, still in a state of shock.
The principle: ⌠It happened this afternoon. They where in a car wreak a young med. student fainted in a cross walk and your mom and dad swerved to avoid hitting him. As for what you are supposed to do, we will help you with that. We are all here for you now. Do you have somewhere you can stay? And a relative that Sam can live with?■
Sere: ⌠What? Take Sam? What do you mean take him?■
Sam: ⌠They want me to go live with relatives until your old enough to take care of me.■ sobbed Sam. Crying even more at the thought of loosing his sister in the same day.
Sere: ⌠NO! I won▓t stand for that! I can take care of him myself, please just give me a chance?■
The Principle: ⌠You can take that up with child services. But, I don▓t see why they wouldn▓t let you if you can get a job and prove that you can support him on your own Sere.■
Sere: ⌠Ok, if that is what I have to do, than that▓s fine. I will do my best. I would like to meet the med. student and make sure he is ok as well.■
The principle: ⌠Well, I don▓t see why that would be a problem. He gave me this to give to any relative that wished to speak to him in person about what happened.■
