Stiches of Love, Needle of the Crafter. Bless Zutara forever after.

"You're crazy"

"It's the decoration for the new house"

"Still you're crazy"

Zuko watched as the water bending girl stitched away at they piece of cloth. How could girls waste their time on these little useless things? He read what she had embroidered on the cloth.

"Stitches of love. Baskets of laughter. Bless our home forever after. What in the world does that mean?"

Katara sighed and put down her work.

"It's just a little poem Zuko, go bother someone else" she replied tartly. Zuko watched closely with boredom. Katara dropped the needle and Zuko traced it with his eyes until it rolled over into a tiny crevasse in the ground and pointed up.

"Darn where are you, you little bugger!" said Katara and she started to crawl on all fours for the needle. Zuko panicked one of her hands was about to land on the needle.

"Katara!"

"Zuko! What! Mpth!"

Zuko held her tight as they rolled over together. They stopped rolling but ending up in an awkward position of being on top of her. They both stared blankly at each other. They stared into the other's eyes for a while until finally Zuko let her go and they both sat back up with red cheeks.

"Sorry, you were about to go on the needle" explained Zuko. Neither of them looked at each other.

"It's alright. At least I didn't get jabbed by the needle" Katara replied. Zuko made a weak laugh. They both turned to look at one another to find that they were too close. Their lips touched gently. They separated without any hesitation. Katara looked down to the ground and then looked back at him. Zuko leaned forward and kissed her again, pulling her closer towards him. She reacted slowly and wrapped her arms around him. They parted slowly and smiled at each other. Zuko laughed.

"Stitches of love eh?"

Authors Note:

I did not make 'Stitches of love, baskets of laughter, bless our home forever after'. It's from this stitching thing you can make yourself but I did make up the title (most of it). I don't own Avatar thought I wish I did. Review and make me happy!
