It was a bright and sunny morning. Naruto woke up, stretching his limbs and clambering out of bed. He quickly shuffled over to his kitchen and started preparing his morning ramen. The movements came naturally, so Naruto let his mind wander. Naturally his mind drifted to the one subject that was ever really on his mind these days. 'Sasuke' Naruto thought solemnly, throwing away the torn ramen started to remember the times when Sasuke was still there, and Team 7 could be considered a family, albeit a very strange one.
Naruto thought about the reason why Sasuke had left. He knew it was because of Orochimaru and his ex - comrade's need to kill his brother, Itachi. Orochimaru had barged in the middle of the 2nd exam, interrupting their quest to finish. He had then sent a giant snake after him, turned Sasuke and Sakura momentarily suicidal, gave Sasuke a hickey telling him to come to him if he desired power then left. This, of course firmly reinstated the suspicion that the traitor was, in fact, a pedophile. Both he and Sasuke had been left unconscious after the incident, though he still felt accomplished. They, mere rookie genin, had fought against a Sannin and survived! Granted Sasuke had gained a curse seal (hickey) and an proposition to power (invite to his home), He himself had been 'bestowed' upon with a seal kindly stopping the Kyuubi from gaining control of body (needlessly molested when the option of defeating him himself, considering he was a Sannin of all people, existed).
Itachi though was something else. He had killed the entire except for Sasuke because apparently he had to 'test his capacity'. Who does that?!?!? The boy was on Anbu, constantly 'testing' himself against dangerous S - class criminals. If he really wanted to, why couldn't he have just asked some ridiculously super powerful ninja to spar? He could have simply gone to the Hokage, had his ass kicked, and set out to train some more to keep himself occupied instead of comitting a massacre, a friggin' mass-a-cre!!! Did he not care about his little brother at all? Did he like murdering his own kin? From what he gathered from his escapades in the hokage tower when he was younger, Itachi was a pacifist! This wasn't adding up at all...
Itachi the pacifist murdered his entire clan,practically ordered his dear brother whom he had not bothered to kill, to kill him, ran away, spending his days as one of the most feared missing - nins. Sasuke had grown up cold and distant, following everything Itachi had told him to do, not once questioning why. Not even when the boy was older he still obeyed Itachi's instructions like a lost puppy. Orochimaru had then come into the picture, sexually harassing Sasuke and getting him to follow into his footsteps. Sasuke was at first wary but then quickly ran after the snake freak claiming the village that had made Itachi strong wasn't good enough to make him strong enough to kill Itachi. So really Sasuke left the village that had trained Itachi to get the training to get as strong as Itachi.
It was then that Naruto realized something. Sasuke was an easily - manipulated idiot who won't even try to stop and think. If he had, Naruto concluded, all of this would have been solved much faster. But with things as it was, nobody was going to listen to him anyway so he decided to just forget about it.
As he sat down to a nice relaxing bowl of ramen, Naruto only had one thought on his mind. 'If I ever see that teme again, I swear I will rip his balls off, feed it to the fangirls, kill him, get Ero - Hebi to revive him, kill him again, meet him in the afterlife and murder him for making me go through all this trouble to save his maniputable ass!' He paused for a moment 'I should probably let Sakura have a go... But she made me promise to bring the teme back! I should kill her too!' He pondered for a while.
'Well atleast she didn't run of to have an affair with a pervy snake bastard with a fetish for small pale boys.'
