((This story is based on the picture I drew in my History class. Yeah, it's that boring! I drew the picture then POP! Story! It's just a little one-shot, and I don't know if it will affect my character in the future. Or if I'll write a past leading up to this. Also, I don't own anything except Rebecca Quinn.

So, yeah, here we go :))

"It's all your fault!" Rebecca yelled as the wooden bat she used connected to the side of the Batman.

"You should have controlled them!"

Whack

"You could have caught them!"

Whack

"You should have brought me home!"

Whack

"I could have had a normal life!"

She stopped now and leaned the bat against her shoulder. A large grin was plastered on her face, and she looked up at Batman through her bangs. The resemblance to her father was incredible, and for a moment Batman wondered if the Joker had taken her place when he wasn't looking.

She watched him swing back and forth from the balcony he hung from. She was letting her words sink in, waiting for him to say something, to defend himself. But he said nothing, and this made her angry. She poised the bat again, putting as much of her weight into the swing as possible, but the bat never connected. She had made it about half swing when something bounced off her wrist, causing her to let go of the bat. If flew down the ally, making a loud clattering noise as Rebecca turned to see where the object had come from.

"You always had a choice, Rei, and you always went back." A voice came from the shadows.

"How can you say that? You could never understand what it's like living with him, being under his control. I never had a choice."

"You could have come to me." Robin stepped out of the shadows.

Rebecca stopped completely now, her eyes scanned the pavement. There was silence between the three of them for a long moment before it was broken by a loud sob coming from Rebecca.

Robin moved slowly, he was cautious, not sure of what she would do, almost treating her like a trapped wild animal. Not getting any notice from her, he reached out and touched her shoulder. She surprised him by falling forward and burying her face in his chest.

"Hey," He wrapped his arms around her, "It's Okay."

((Yeah, so that's it. My first ever finished work. The implied paring came from my friend, who suggested it after I told her Rebecca needed a friend. I've never been a huge Robin fan, but it was floating around in my mind for a few weeks, then I drew the picture, and this just worked.))
