Well, I'm finally back in action! And with a new part to my original drabble, "I'll Find You, I Promise"! I thought I left the ending a little... unfinished so I decided to do another drabble. Hopefully this will kick my butt into gear. There's a very slight time skip between this drabble and the last one but not much, a few hours at most. There will be a third and possibly fourth drabble in the works. The details for the fourth are a little sketchy right now.

But! It's time for a new drabble! Enjoy everyone!

X-X

Jaden thought he'd found him. He thought he'd found Jesse. But just when it seemed like his prayers had been answered; the truth slapped him in the face once more. The boy he found in the camp mirrored Jesse in every way from his hair to his eyes and even to his voice. It brought hope to Jaden's heart that his brother wasn't in the clutches of Yubel. But harsh reality came crashing down on him from the moment the boy spoke.

He had no idea who Jesse was. The boy was frightened, confused and scared but he was lucid enough to know who he was and who he wasn't. And he definitely wasn't Jesse.

Jaden felt his stomach drop drastically, feeling emptier than ever before. Another stone over-turned and still no Jesse. Jaden felt the hope that burned bright in his soul dim.

All that he'd hoped for, everything his heart sung for, it was just wishful thinking.

The boy was chained to the stone wall of the cave. Jaden pulled at the chains until they gave way from around his wrists. He lifted the scared boy and held him up with an arm pulled over his shoulder and led him outside the cave.

Once he did, another thing was ripped from Jaden; this time, his charge, the person he was supposed to save. The creatures fell over themselves, laughing manically at Jaden as Jesse's look-a-like disappeared in a shimmering cloud of golden sparkles, sent to the stars.

For a moment, all Jaden saw was red. He wasn't sure whether to rip apart the creatures with his bare hands or just destroy them all in a duel. Either way seemed to be a perfect punishment to fit the crime.

His chocolate brown eyes flashed honey golden and his icy stare turned onto the still laughing, heartless monsters.

'Time to get my game on!'
