The students at Hogwarts hurried through the doors, everybody wanting to know what the tumult at the entry yard was about. Two persons was facing each other on each side on the big fontain in the centre of the yard. They were completely still, standing without moving and watching each other, their eyes locked together. Green versus gray, complete opposites but well known by the other pair.
The green belonged to a short, well-trained Lion with a lightning-shaped scar half hidden by the black, messy hair. He had a pair of circular glasses and red details on his clothes. The gray ones belonged to the long, thin blonde with his hair in perfect order and a green snake mark on his chest. The Lion's eyes showed a million of feelings in the same time, but they always do, the Snake thought. The gray eyes however, was completely empty, nothing was shown behind the mask he'd learned to maintain since birth.
Someone called the Lions name, but no one reacted. Everybody was waiting to see what would happen next. Who would be the first to drag their wand, who would be cursed first? It was official knowledge that the two had hated each other the very minute they stepped throught the castledoors. But there were more under the cover; Something deeper, something unknown.
The Snake stepped forward, eyes locked with the person in front of him, and a buzz could be heard through the bystanders, the Lion took a step and they went quit. The game continued, until they stood no more than half a meter apart.
- Why did you do it? the Lion asked, without a doubt. The Snake sighed.
- I've told you that already.
- But I don't get it. You know I could handle it, I don't care, I'm ready to fight.
The Snake looked insecure for a moment, taking yet another step.
- Why do we have to discuss this here? I thought it was our privacy, not the entire schools business. The Lion didn't surrender.
- Whatever you want to say to me, you can say it here. They'll find out anyway, with the speed news travel.
- That doesn't mean they have to hear every word! The Lion raised an eyebrow with a questioning glance.
- Are you saying that you actually care? Another annoyed sigh could be heard from the Snake's pale lips.
- Of course I care, moron. I care about you, I thought I'd made that clear. Oh, for fuck's sake... He took the remaining steps towards the Lion and dragged him closer to him, until their lips crashed together. A gasp could be heard through the crowd, and once again people started to whisper to each other.
Too soon, the two broke apart and looked each other in the eyes.
- I think we just outed ourselves, the Lion mumbled with a smile.
The next day, their revelation made the front page in The Daily Prophet:
"Chosen One confesses relationship with son to known Death Eater. "
