"Autism is one of the four major developmental disabilities. It occurs in one to two of every 1,000 births. It is a brain disorder, present from birth, which affects the way the brain uses information. Essentially it means that hearing, sight and other senses are not properly understood. This results in severe problems of social relationships, communication, and behavior," the family's doctor explained briefly," but we also take into consideration his majestic magical abilities and his abnormally high senses. His Autism shouldn't affect his concentration and ability to understand and there's even a chance he might be able to obtain a normal life."
"Thank you doctor, but what about his duty as the heir to lead the clan? Can he handle such a burden in his condition?" the woman ceased her thoughtful pace to look the doctor in the eye, with a content gaze that it manipulated and questioned the things you thought you were sure about. That is the way Mistress Yalen Li had won every verbal and mental battle with all who have objected with her reasoning.
"Of coarse Mistress. But he must have a will to remain in the real world. So it would be in the clan's best interest and the boy's if you gave him the chance at happiness. Is that all you need of me Mistress?" the doctor said in a very serious tone.
"Yes that is all, thank you for your time doctor." Yalen bowed respectfully still in deep thought.
The doctor cleared his throat and bowed one time before he left with his cane, slowly drifting down the halls in the Li mansion as a ghostly shadow of the hollow old man. He has had a chance at a bright future, but the consequences also known, as the curse of being a Li, is the truth that in the end all you have is your honor. Emotion was not allowed nor was rebellion from anything the Elders have all decided upon.
Only one Li dare oppose this order of life, a man named Syaoran Li. He had it all-money, looks, and power. Yet he wanted more.
