Chapter One Synopsis: The Tale Of Crystal Woods
Brothers Lucas and Nathan Scott get lost in the woods while bonding during a hiking trip. As night falls, they are directed by a mysterious stranger to a cabin in the woods where Dr. Durham resides. The odd and slightly deranged Dr. is more then willing to help them, if they can solve his riddle. If they can't it's really no big deal, however they will be punished…BY DEATH.
Chapter Two Synopsis: The Tale Of Laughing In The Dark
Here you'll read about the spooky funhouse named Laughing In The Dark. It just so happens that it's rumored to be haunted by a clown/ghost named Zeebo who died in the very same funhouse eighty years ago. Fifteen year old Brooke Davis declares to her best friends that she will go to the house and bring out Zeebo's nose as proof that she has completed her mission. But Brooke soon discovers the truth about the mysterious Zeebo. Too bad she may not live to tell about it.
Chapter Three Synopsis: The Tale Of The Twisted Claw
Halloween is here and best friends Skills and Tim decide to visit the house of the scary Miss Clove, known to everyone as the Witch of Tree Hill. After an unfortunate occurrence she gives the boys a surprising Halloween treat that is supposed to grant them three wishes a piece. However the claw ends up bringing them more than they bargained for giving a whole new meaning to the phrase "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it".
Chapter Four Synopsis: The Tale Of The Lonely Ghost
Plain, ordinary Haley James was the daughter of two world renowned scientist. With her parents off on another expedition Haley is forced into spending the entire summer with her aunt, uncle and evil cousin Rachael who just happens to be the town's it girl. In order to hang out with the popular crowd Haley must first pass an initiation test by spending the night alone in the haunted house next door. Although she doesn't believe in ghost, she later finds out that the house has supernatural powers of its own, powers to change the past and the future.
Chapter Five Synopsis: The Tale Of The Dark Music
Peyton Sawyer and her family have just moved to Crossroads Village. While helping her mother unpack, she descends into the creepy basement where she hears strange noises. Although her sister Haley accuses her of being Afraid of the dark, she knows that something is terribly wrong. Especially once strange things start happening and the cellar door keeps popping open all on its own.
