"No! Chat!" Ladybug screamed. Chat Noir's eyes closed and he fell forward, his body fading.
Ladybug fell to her knees. "How can I do this without you?" She asked despairingly. The corpse gave no response. She sighed and got up to face the army of enemies in front of her. She began twirling her yoyo and drew her arm back to strike when she was suddenly hit from behind.
She coughed out blood as she was impaled by a rapier. She looked down in shock as her eyes closed. She turned to look at her attacker, but all she could make out with her blurry vision was a wide smirk.
Ladybug and Chat Noir lay dead on the ground as their enemies cheered and spit over their corpses.
GAME OVER flashed across her screen and Marinette hit the keyboard in frustration.
"No! Why is it so hard to beat that dungeon?" She groaned and threw her head back. A beep came from her computer, signaling that Chat wanted to… chat. She begrudgingly clicked accept and immediately was bombarded by Chat Noir's messages.
