Kia Ichijouji's Story: The Protector of Light

Author's Note: Kia's not all who you think it is. Even though a friend
and ally to Risuke and the other teens, she has a long forgotten past
that took place over one thousand years ago.
Summary: Fourteen year old Kia Ichijouji is kidnapped by one of the
evil Soulless, who was after her for a long forgotten past of hers.
Kia, however, doesn't remember her past...from a thousand years ago.
Prologue: A Thousand Years Ago...
A thousand years ago, the world was at peace. The star of
Light was home to one of the most beautiful civilizations, ruled by a
young queen named Queen Isabelle.
In one particular place, the kingdom of the Starlight Kingdom,
was home to the Queen and her only daughter, the Starlight Princess,
as well as many of several thousand children.
Everything was at peace until one day, a evil force known as
the Soulless, invaded the kingdom, led by the evil Shadow Mistress,
Queen Jenna, who wanted to take over the whole Universe.
The world had fallen into the Soulless' hands and a great
battle took place. To conquer the Starlight Kingdom, Queen Jenna had
unleashed the deadly power of the Soulless.
Though her world was destroyed, Queen Isabelle's last hope was
the three most powerful Spirit Hybrid Digimon and their legend of being
able to Spirit Evolve with the young Princess.
" Only you three young Spirit Hybrids and your legend of Spirit
Evolution can combat the evil power of the Soulless. Never get caught
or the Universe is doomed! But most of all, you must protect my dear
Princess Kia, understand?" the young Queen pleaded with her heart since
hers was no more, thanks to the Soulless.
Princess Kia was just a little girl at the time who dreamed of
following her mother's footsteps and rule the stars, but due to the
Soulless, was not able to do so.
Frozen in Starlight Crystals, the Queen sent the Princess and
the children of the Starlight Kingdom to the future on Earth.
Their memories lost to them all, the Queen's three young Spirit
Hybrid Digimon, Kazemon, Moonlightmon, and ShadowKittymon, must find
the Princess, so she will, at last, be safe.
And so our story begins...
