As I stand here holding my one true possession my thoughts are not on the device, its components, or even the task it is about to be used for. My thoughts currently regard their symbolism in part and in whole.
The casing represents me mentally, its flaws are a reflection of the flaws I will allow myself to have. Mine is purely functional it has no jewels, silver, gold, or even additional controls.
The internal circuitry represents the knowledge I have learned here since I was taken from my parents and brought here. It controls the power makes this elegant tool functional. There is no guiding the power only controlling it to do what I need.
The focusing crystals represent the time I spent with my master where they focused my knowledge and skills to make me what I am today. They took someone who had unlimited potential and limited knowledge and focused them so they could achieve anything they were called to do.
The emitter crystal represents the effort I put forth to ensure my efforts and myself are successful. If it were destroyed or damaged the results could be disastrous.
The power cell represents the power of the force that binds all life together and gives me the power to do those things for which I have been trained. Without the power cell my one possession is worthless.
The controls represent the power that my master has over me. The power to turn turn on, or off, to fine tune for the desired effect. Someday the controls will fail or be removed allowing me to reach my full potential.
The blade itself shows what I represent, the emotions that drive me, and how well I am trained. It can protect me from my enemies and their weapons. It can destroy my enemies, their allies, my friends, and allies if needed. It is a vibrant red.
My weapon, now ready, is about to pierce my masters heart while sleeps bringing about a change in my life where I will no longer do his bidding...
