Introduction
Life. Life can be so damn hard, but at the same time, life can give us some of the joyess of memories. It's like a whirlpool, spinning uncontrollably, and it's our decisions in life that will depend on the direction, that it shall spin, and our willing and strength to fight against it to change it's power over us.
My life has been a never ending fight. It's strong and it wants me to spin out of control, and there have been times where my fingers have slipped from the edge and I've had to fight with all my might to regain my grip to save myself, but that hasn't always been the case.
This one time, this one significant time in my life, I lost grip, and I almost lost my life. It was spinning me out of control and it gave me a chance to grab onto the edge and I let it pass, I wanted to fall into the middle where I would never have to fight the strong waves ever again. It was dark and lonely, and there's no feelings, no feelings floating around you to confuse you, just empty darkness.
And at that time of my life, that's all I wanted, to feel numb, because the feelings were too painful, and I think if I had the choice I would have stayed there, in that emptiness but my friend, my Best friend Alice, reminded me that I was still wanted, that she wanted and needed me, that I was throwing away a life, my life, for a stupid boy who didn't want me. And with Alice's help, I slowly took the steps out of that darkness, like a baby learning to first walk, falling down constently but being lifted up by those who want you to sucseed, and eventually got there, I made my walk all that way into the arms of my father and best friend, those who cared about me, and it was from that day onwards that I swore of men, my father would be the only man in my life, the only man that I would ever need.
Well that was until Mr Cullen walked into my office and into my life, with his sweet crooked smile, hair that looks like a birds nest and a personality that just refuses to give up…
