Hunk, and Lance peared into the kitchen to find Sakura, eating her forth helping of pancakes. "She's acting like she's an epecting mother." Lance said, and Hunk looked at him.
"What are you talking about? She's just." He paused to think. "Really hungry."
Lance gave him a deapanned looked. "Seriously?"
Hunk shrugged. "She's not ... she can't be."
Lance continued to give him a deapanned look. "You're hiding something." He accused, then grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him out, back into the hall. "You can't hide, I have a big family, remember? So spill it."
Hunk was looking down, gently thumping both his index fingers together. "I gave Sakura my word." He then looked up at Lance, and folded his arms. "Sorry buddy."
Lance folded his own arms. "She is." He rolled his eyes. "Great! We cannot have her expecting! Not when we have Lotor to deal with!" He suddenly paused. "It is Keith's right?"
Hunk blinked. "You're wacko if you're thinking it's not Keith's."
Lance's eyes widened. "So they are doing it!" He revealed, making Hunk quickly clamp both hands over his mouth with his eyes wide as he realized his mistake. Lance quickly walked around him, and headed into the kitchen.
"I knew it!" He announced, and Sakura looked up after washing the dishes.
"What are you talking about?"
"You!" He strode up to her. "You and Keith have been getting it on!"
"We're all adults Lance." She turned to him, putting her hands on her hips.
Lance rolled his eyes. "You." He pointed at her. "You're eating for two, aren't you?" He accused, then folded his arms again. "I knew it! You're always eating as much as Hunk, so."-
"Hunk!" Sakura yelled, feeling betrayed. And Hunk suddenly ran into the room.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He cried, clapping his hands together in pleading. "He cornered me!"
"Ya know, both of you can lie and your noses growing like pinocchio."- Lance started.
"Lance, I'm not expecting, you nitwit!" Sakura scolded, folding her arms. "If I was I'd be over eating, wanting to sleep all the time, and looking sick all the time."
Lance held up a finger. "Which." He pointed at her. "Is your current state."
"You amoeba." Sakura rolled her eyes. "I had a checkup yesterday, and I'm fine, do you see me running off to the bathroom, or puking in the trash right now? I think not."
Lance didn't look convinced. "So, you're not?"
"NO!" Sakura glared at him. "There is no way I want to bring a baby in right now. Not to mention Lotor is still on the loose and who the hell knows where he is right now!" She jabbed her finger into his chest. "If you're so convinced, why not annoy Keith with these questions instead of me." With that she walked around him and walked out of the kitchen.
"Nice going Lance." Hunk said. "She's scary enough, now she has reason to be scary!"

Later that day, the team was escorting some refugees out of the Fimm System that had lost power. White Lion was in front of the ships, it's paws being careful not to put too much pressure on its hull. Suddenly Black Lion appeared and grabbed a hold of the ship.
"Keith!" Sakura gasped.
"Well, look who decided to show up." Pidge commented sarcastically.
"Where have you been?" Lance asked. "Are you even taking this seriously?"
"Sorry I'm late." Keith apologized
"What took you so long?" Sakura asked.
"I got held up, it won't happen again." He answered.
"Uh huh, a likely story." Lance huffed.

After taking care of some injured, the team returns to the castle and back into the control room one-by-one. Shiro stood at the main platform, while the team circled him.
"Ok everybody." Coran said waving his hands in the air, to gain everyone's attention. "Today, we'll be heading to Reiphod. A Planet recently liberated from Galra forces."
"This is embarrassing." Keith commented. "We're basicly the grand marchell of a parade."
Lea bit her lower lip. She had to agree. They were like stars from a show, lifting people's spirits and presuadeing them to join their coalitin. Coran had been in charge of the so called shows and arranged their apperanceses over the galaxy.
"Not a parade." Coran corrected. "A show of arms!" He flexed his left arm.
"Whatever it is." Pidge interrupted. "This is the second one of these we've done just this week."
"Yeah!" Sakura agreed. "I don't wanna be famous." She folded her arms. "I have to say I don't wanna do this. I'd rather kick the Galra into a blackhole. The sooner we do that, the sooner." She trailed off with a shrug.
"I know it's not exactly battling the Galra." Allura started. "But believe it or not, this helps us boost morale and strengthen alliances."
"Right, right, strongholds, blah-dy, blah-dy, blah." Lance said folding his arms. "Now, I say we go over our lion choreography one more time. I don't want a repeat of what happened last time, Hunk." He squinted his eyes at him with a pout.
"I thought my lion had more room." Hunk retorted holding his arm, Lance glared back with his hands on his waist.
Lea tried not to giggle, but it slipped out. Both Lance and Hunk looked at her, and she quickly side stepped to hide behind Shiro and when she did Kolivan appeared on the main screen.
"Shiro, my apologies for interrupting. But this is an urgant matter. A Galra supply ship has been spotted passing through Quadrant Omega Raylar-Six." His image disappeared and replaced with a map of the quadrant.
"What's it doing so far from the normal supply routes?" Lea asked.
"We can't be certain but taken together with the fact that Lotor hasn't been seen in quite sometime and the emergence of this new form of quintessence, we feel compelled to investigate." Kolivan answered. "Normally, we would wait for better intel, but I believe we should act on this now."
"We should intercept them halfway and investigate, why they strayed so far off course." Sakura suggested.
"An infiltration mission makes more sense." Kolivan said. "We can plant a tracker and see just how far the supply route extends. With all the Galra activity lately, my agents are spread thin."
"Not anymore." Keith said. "Count me in."
Everyone looked at him.
"Hey, what about our preformance?" Lance whined. "We can't razzle dazzle the crowd with just five lions."
"This mission is more important then just a show of arms!" Keith angerly shot at him. "Shiro?" He turned to him.
"How long will it take?" Shiro asked.
"Not long, but we must act fast." Kolivan answered. "Or risk the ship jumping into hyperspace."
"Go Keith." Sakura told him. "Just be careful. But you are a vital part of Voltron. As soon as you finish meet us at Reiphod."
Keith nods, and exits the control room. Sakura wraps her arms around herself as she bits her lower lip, as they all watch the doors close behind him.

"Citizens of Reiphod!" Coran said into a microphone. "On this day, we honor you for your testament to the fighting spirit of your people. You've put aside your differences and united to dispel the oppressive Galra regime, bringing freedom to all!" The people cheered louder. "We thank you for joining the coalition and continuing the fight against the Galra that began with the reemergence of the six lions of Voltron!"
Red, White, Blue, Yellow, and Green Lions flew above the crowd leavings trails of their respective colors. They moved gracefully through the air.
"Right, uh ... five lions." Coran corrected with a nervous chuckle.
"I thought Keith said he was gonna be here!" Lance complained. "He's going to ruin our show!"
"He's doing something important. He's getting to kick someone's butt!" Sakura said.
"This isn't just about putting on a good show." Allura retorted. "This is about uniting the people and bringing them to the coalition to help in the fight against Zarkon."
Lance sighed. "Fine. I don't even know why I try."
"Keith's mission is also important!" Sakura retorted with a snap. "Frankly, I think his is way more exciting then ours!"
The lions flew down and fired lasers from their tails of the arena, causing confetti to to fall over the crowd. The lions created a circle with their colorful trails that almost looked like a twister.
"By joining the Voltron Alliance, you are joining up the Defenders Of The Universe, who will do whatever it takes to spread peace and freedom to every galaxy." Coran explained.
The lions flew belly up and backflipped above the crowd and once again flew up into the sky. Breaking into a hysteria of a cheer when the team nose dived.
"They're loving us!" Lance exclaimed. "Razzel-dazzel!"

After the show had to end in a quiet retreat back to the castle because they couldn't form Voltron.
The team is now in the control room after Coran called.
"What's happening?" Sakura asked.
"We received a distress signal." Coran informed. "One of our convoys has been ambushed by a squadron of Galra cruisers."
"Those ships are carrying medical supplies." Sakura's eyes widened.
"We must leave immediately." Allura advised. "Voltron can keep those cruisers occupied long enough for the supply ship to make their escape."
"Actually, Voltron can't." Pidge stated. "Keith's gone."
"They're probably on a mission. I knew this would happen sooner or later." Shiro said. "You'll have to go without Keith. The convoy need you immediately. I'll send him to help as soon as I find him."
The team ran out, but Sakura stayed behind.
"Something wrong Sakura?" Shiro asked asked frowning.
"Yeah. Black Lion allows both you and Keith to pilot him." She put her hands on her waist. "Aren't you done bossing us around from the sidelines, like a cheerleader?" She knew her tone is harsh, but with Keith now having a side job, Black Lion is just sitting in it's hanger, probably board and itching to flew and fight.
Shiro stared at her. "Sakura."
"I'm tired of this Shiro!" She stomped her foot. "You know Keith's job with the Blades are important, as do I! But you're just standing around like a cheerleader instead of coming back into the chaos! You're not acting like the Shiro I use to know." Her tone is really harsh, but she doesn't care. So with that she turned and ran off.

"Nevermind! There's too many!" Hunk cried after he tried to take evasive maneuvers. but there was just too many fighters.
"Hunk, fall back into formation!" Sakura ordered as she flew White Lion. "The rest of you, try to take down ass many fighters as you can, we need to clear a path!"
The team went left and right, shooting down fighters. But suddenly five more fighters came out of hyperspace making a close call for Sakura, and White Lion skidded to a stop just before crashing into a fighter.
"Someone must've called for backup!" Hunk exclaimed, as more fighters began to imploy.
"Damn it Keith, where the hell are you!?" Sakura yelled.
"They're everywhere!" Lance yelled.
"There are more fighters then we've ever scene!" Pidge exclaimed.
"We'll never make it with just ours lions!" Sakura cried, looking at her radar. "We need Voltron! SHIRO GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE, NOW!" She screamed into the comm lnk, making her friends all wince.
Sakura tightened her hold on the handles, then shoved them forward. But a shot slammed into her, causing White Lion to spin out of control, then another shot hit White Lion, causing it spin out of control in another direction.
Suddenly Black Lion was there, catching White Lion.
"About damn time Paladin!" Sakura yelled, very hotly. "Where the hell have you been!?" She watched Black Lion shoot a beam at taking down a few Galra fighters, chasing Yellow Lion.
"Converge on me." Shiro ordered. "It's time to form Voltron!"
All the Lions soon take off in formation and formed Voltron. The shoulder cannon appeared was summoned, destroying a major of the ships creating thousands of explosions. Voltron flew towars the rebel ships. "Rebel craft, you're safe." Shiro reassured them. "We'll escort you the rest of the way to Olkarion."

Later, the team was back in the castle. Sakura was in her room. A knock on her door had her turned to the door. "Come in." She knew who it was, but she kept her back to him.
Keith walked in, and the door closed behind him, and it was quiet between them for a long time with him looking down.
Finally, Sakura broke it. "So, where have you been?" She was using the same tone had used on Shiro, but a little more softer.
"I don't need a lecture." He started, almost getting irritated. And after the team bit his off, he had in response bit their heads off.
"I think you do, but I bet the others already gave you one." She wrapped her arms around herself, keeping her back to him.
"They did." Keith nodded. "Sakura."-
"You're leaving Voltron, aren't you?" She cut him off.
Keith explained to her, what he explained to the others. And she was quiet for a long time.
"So you're abandoning us." Tears started to cloud her eyes. "Abandoning me."
"What? No, no, no, no!" He took a step forward, but stopped.
"The hell you are!" She yelled, refusing for him to see her tears. "I should've saw this coming, but no I had to fall hard for you."
"You're not thinking straight!" He came up behind her and grabbed her shoulders gently, but jumped back when she spun around shoving him in the chest.
"You are! Just like everyone else! First my mother, then my father, then my sister! Leaving me alone where I would cry every single night. Feeling alone, empty and no love. I'm not that scared little girl anymore. Now I'm older and I found you." She pushed him in the chest again. "And now this. You're going to find that Galra that you rescued while we were in that Weblum, and forget all about Voltron! About me!" She shoved his chest again.
"What the hell are you so angry about?" Keith demanded, grabbing her wrists and she tried to pull away, but he held her.
"Let go."
"No. Not until you tell me."
"You!" She cried, making him almost loose his grip on her. "Shiro." She tried to swallow the lump in her throat. "Both, hell the whole damn leader thing."
Keith let her wrists go, and Sakura fell to her knees, he dropped down in front of her. "I am not abandoning you." He said more gently. "And what are you saying? That we shouldn't have found Shiro?"
"He shoved you out the leader spot, a few days after he was found." She muttered, looking down at the floor. "And instead of doing the damn job like a real leader, he's sitting on his butt and doing the bossing from the safety of the castle."
"Sakura." Keith said softly, gently placing his hands on her thighs. "Honey, I need to stay with the Blades."
She couldn't look at him, afraid to look at him. "I know." She whispered. "Our leader ... both our leaders have gone awol, while Black Lion just sits inside the hanger."
"Kura. Everything I use to know, changed so much. I need find myself and figure out who I really am." He told her gently.
She swallowed hard. "But do you have to do that with them? Why not do that with us?" She continued to whisper.
He sighed. "Baby ... I can't." He gently took her hands. "And ... Black Lion can't have two Paladins."
She tried hard to not start crying again.
"I am not abandoning you." He whispered. "I would never."
"How am I suppose to believe that, when so many others abandoned me already?" Her voice is broken.
Keith leaned to her, kissing her gently, and she clung to him tightly. The need of air finally won and they pulled away.
"Please believe me." He said gently, resting his forehead on hers.

The following morning, Sakura slowly awoke. She had felt a kiss on her cheek, then neck an hour ago. But now she awoke alone, tears came to her eyes as she found the other side of the bed empty. "Keith." She breathed, sitting up with the blankets covering herself.
That's when she saw it. Keith's red and white jacket, hanging on the back of her desk chair.
Jumping out of bed, Sakura snatched up the jacket and hugged it tightly to her chest as she buried her face into it.

Season 4 is here! I had so much fun in the beginning, and at the end! I thought it suited really well.
