Hello! This is my first ever Glee fanfic! (Yayayayay)

I've made an OC. Her name is Ruby, Ruby Phillips. Now, I'm really not a fan of Mary Sue's. Sometimes my characters can slide into one and please, PLEASE tell me if she is because, well, I don't like them. I don't really know what to say.

It wont just be about romance blahblahh, I'll try and add lots off different story lines and SONGS! (If I put the song in Italics then you will know which one it is and you can look it up if you like. But only if you like. I'm not forcing... :))

This is set just after this series- They have just won regionals (sorry if that's wrong), Rachel has auditioned for Funny Girl, Brittany has left with her super duper smartness, Will and Emma are married, and everything else is as you know it.

I do not own Glee. I wish I did, but I don't... :(

ON WITH LE SHOW.

The Glee club sat in an awkward silence. Mr Schue had just asked for some suggestions for songs for Nationals (Again, sorry if that's wrong). They looked around at each other for support, but nothing.

"Come on guys, you have to have some ideas?" Will said, sighing.

"I'm sexy and I know it?" Sam asked.

"No"

"Oh, oh, how about some Ga-"

"No Gaga, Tina!" Will groaned.

Tina frowned, slumping down in her chair. Blaine, who was behind her, patted her shoulder.

"We could always do another one of my songs?..." Marley said quietly.

"Well...yes. But we can't just do them, we need some other genres" Mr Schue told her gently.

There were a few more useless suggestions for a couple of minutes, before they were interrupted by the opening of the door to the choir room. Principal Figgins entered.

"Sorry to interrupt. We have a new student everyone. Please would you all kindly welcome Ruby Phillips. She has told me she would be interested in joining our Glee club!" He gave the brunette girl a small nod, before gently pushing her into the choir room and leaving.

Everyone in the room looked over to her, with a mixture of different expressions. Mr Schue walked over and smiled.

"Hey there. Welcome. Come and sit down."

Ruby sat down steadily on one of the free chairs at the front of the room, next to Kitty. Kitty tilted her head, looking over to the newcomer.

"I'm Kitty. Please don't bother me too much"

"I wont..." Ruby said slowly, a frown forming across her face.

Artie rolled his eyes slightly, and smiled at Ruby. "Hey, I'm Artie. Please ignore her. Some people just don't know how to be normal and whatnot."

Ruby chuckled, "Hi, and yeah, I saw."

So, the 'rehersal' went on. As the bell went, and everyone started piling out of the choir room. Will caught up with Ruby.

"Hey. Just so you know, that wasn't how rehearsals usually go. We're normally alot more active! Anyway, it would be nice if you maybe prepared a song for us to hear. It won't be a formal audition or anything."

"Ah...yeah. Well, sure!" Ruby smiled.

As she walked down the corridors, Ruby mentally made a list of songs she could do. Yet, nothing great instantly came to mind. She didn't really know if she wanted to be in this Glee club much, yet something drew her in. Everyone was different there. They were like a family. How cool would that be, to be so close to so may people...

She walked past two boys which she had recognized from the club, one with blonde, messy hair, and the other with black slicked back hair.

"And so next I was thinking about making a macaroni Kermit..." was all she heard. Weird.

Ok, so that was really short but I'm super tired! This was just a little introey thing... :) PLEASE review! PLEASE!
