Short oneshot about Remus Lupin, felt as if I had to add marauders somewhere into my profile.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry potter or marauders, I wish I did, though.
Remus Lupin couldn't stop the sobs that shook his body. Everything...hurt. Everything was numb. Nothin mattered anymore. Everyone was gone.
Sirius was in prison.
James, Lily and Peter were dead.
Harry was gone.
Remus Lupin was alone. His greatest fear was coming true. He was alone. The people who promised he'd never be alone again, left him. He couldn't help but think somehow, it was his fault.
He starred down at the picture in front of him, teardrops hitting it as Remus cried. He had just turned 22 a few months ago, yet he felt like just yesterday, they were a Hogwarts.
The picture showed Remus, James, Sirius and Peter, all sitting in the Gryffindor common room, laughing about something. It had been taken with a muggle camera, so sadly it didn't move. Remus craved those old memories, he knew they were currently his lifeline.
Ever so slowly he put the picture down on the table, and turned his head to face the window, watching as the full moon slowly parted through the clouds.
The monster would make his appearance tonight, and for the first time in years, Remus hoped he wouldn't live to the next day.
