Granted

Many times I've been lost,
Feeling alone, while being surrounded,
Lots of people coming and going,
Never having time to just stop,
Think of all the good things,
That are passing us by,
The beautiful sunsets in the evening,
The glory of the sunrise at dawn,
The fresh hope that each day brings,
The sound of the birds singing,
The new miracles God's doing,
So much love around us,
We hide behind all the pain,
Focus to much on the hurt,
Forgetting all the wonder and grace,
Worrying to much about the future,
Not living for the moment,
Not living life to the full,
Taking life for granted,
Taking love for granted,
Taking God for granted.
