The water sprite stared sternly at Kermit with its beady purple eyes. It's hygric body started bolting towards the shore towards the frog in anger. "No stop! Give me back Elmo!" Kermit cried while running away from the spirit.

"No. Both of you, get out of my swamp." Something with a scottish accent stated. Shrek punched the sprite right in the eyes as it turned into freezing cold water. Unfortunately, Kermit got soaked in the water. "Hey, you alright?"

Kermit stood up and started making an ear shredding scream. Immediately, Shrek knew something was wrong, because Kermit's eyes were purple.

"Ah, what is wrong?" Elmo asked as he rose from the lake. "Oh no."

"What?" Shrek squinted.

"The water spirit possessed him. We need to find Lord Farquaad."

"Did someone say my name?" Lord Farquaad descended from the treetops to the shore. "Its time to sing, Elmo. We need to see if he 'kermits' to being this was his whole life."

"Oh my, there is a spirit inside, how will we get it out? it's time to decide, why you will pout." Elmo and Farquaad duetted.

Kermit jumped awake and stated singing his own song. "Someday we'll find it. The Rainbow Connection. The lovers, the dreamers and me." He looked around as his eyes started turning back to normal. "No, commitment is not what I am looked for."

Shrek started laughing. "You mean Kermitment?!"
