The city was rushing with activity. It was Sunday morning and everyone was driving or walking to or from work. A large crowd was gathered around an unusual sight at this time. A sphere of darkness had started forming, and got larger each second. As usual the crowd was panicking and yelling as officers told them to stay back. Suddenly the dark sphere erupted, sucking people in and spitting all types of objects out. People clung to lamp posts while their body lifted up and dangled in the air. Pieces of broken wood and stone structures flew out of the sphere landing heavily among the people. As this was happening a monkey had also been spit out.
This monkey had no idea where it was; or for the matter, who it was. Seeing the crowd frightened it and it darted into the alleys. The monkey soon realized he had somehow lost his memories. The only thought that came to mind was of itself being in a battle. The monkey left the alleys and started trying to find clues of where it was. Nothing came to mind. As far as it knew it had never been here before. It was bewildered by it's surroundings. Huge buildings with glass windows loomed over the city and wherever the monkey went there were loud humans. Suddenly, a spear jutted out stopping an inch away from the monkey's face. The monkey looked up to find two teenagers armed with weapons.
"Is this a monster or just an animal?" one teenager whispered to the other. The monkey found that it had heard everything the teenager had whispered. The second teenager declared to the monkey "We are sons of Ares, whether you be a monster or an animal this area isn't permitted for anyone to enter.
The monkey's stubborn nature kicked in. It sat there and cocked it's eyebrows at them. "Why you!" the second teenager growled angrily. He swung his spear at the monkey aiming to knock it out. The monkey had suddenly disappeared right after he had swung his spear. The first teenager looked bewildered and screamed "Careful! The monster is on top of your spear!" The first teenager believing the monkey was a monster stabbed at it with his sword. At this gesture the monkey started laughing as it kicked away the spear and jumped over the sword. It had no idea why it itself was laughing but everything just seemed funny to it at that moment. Suddenly a memory jolted. As the sword and spear aimed for their marks again there was a flash of red and yellow and the weapons lay on the ground both broken evenly into five pieces.
