Love Never Known Before
Prologue

Author Note: Please read and review. I love to hear what you people have to say! This story occurs when all the gods are still alive. None of that Twilight of the Gods has happened yet which means Eve was born and Joxer is still alive. I apologize now but I make Gabrielle seem really stupid. Sorry if that offends any Gabrielle lovers.
Ares stood on his room on Mount Olympus staring forlornly at his beautiful princess through his mirror. She was busy as usual stopping one of his many warlords from sacking another pitiful excuse of a town. He bristles slightly as he sees his half-wit half-brother give her a hug over their victory. Behind Ares is a flash of brilliant pink light and swirling rose petals as his sister Aphrodite appears.
"Hey Stud muffin. What's up?" Aphrodite asks casually as she makes her way over to her brother's side.
Ares just lets out a grunt in reply.
"Still hung up on the Warrior Babe, Huh?"
"Let's get this straight, Dite. I am not, quote: "Hung up", on Xena as you so put it. It will only be a matter of time before she realizes her mistake and comes crawling back to me." Ares snaps angrily.
"You know, Ar, you could use a major attitude adjustment. Maybe If I just call Cupie down here..."
"I DO NOT NEED AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!"
"Well then admit you lover her already! I mean like I already know cause I am like the Goddess of Love!"
Ares growls angrily, turning his back on his sister in an attempt to ignore her. He sighs ever so softly as he once again focuses his attention back on Xena.
Meanwhile....
"Xe, is it just me or are Ares warriors getting easier to defeat?" Gabrielle chirps in her normal perky voice.
"No, Gab, I just think that you are learning to fight better..." Xena trails off in the middle of the sentence as she ponders why that victory and all the other victories came so easily. Maybe Ares is becoming soft..or something...naw this is the God of Wart after all...
