The Yankees were playing in New York that evening. Tony was flying somewhere over Egypt. It was a very depressing situation.
"Jarvis?" He asked as he flew over the pyramids. The sun was just rising, and if he'd cared, he might have appreciated the beauty of it; but he was tired and sore, and wanted to go home.
"Yes, sir?"
"Can you patch through the audio for the Yankees/Red Sox game tonight?"
"Of course, sir."
The flight across the Sahara and then across the Atlantic, was a very long one. He was going to need the company, even if the company was just a few baseball announcers having mostly inane conversation, and the occasional home run. Tony liked what he liked and he didn't care.
"Never gonna give you up..."
He nearly flew right into the sphinx's nonexistent nose.
"... Never gonna let you down.."
"Shit!" Tony jackknifed back into the air, trying to regain his composure.
"... Never gonna run around and desert you..."
"Jarvis?"
"Yes, sir?"
"... Never gonna make you cry..."
"Did you Rickroll my armor?"
"Yes, sir."
Tony shook his head. "Sometimes, I really don't know about you, Jarvis."
"... Never gonna say goodbye..."
"You built me, sir."
"... Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you..."
"Sometimes I'm not really sure that matters anymore," Tony laughed as he increased his speed, heading south towards the desert. "Can I have my game now?"
"Of course, sir."
"Thanks, Jarvis."
"You're welcome, sir."
...
A/N: Idk, my Tony headvoice loves the Yankees, even though another part of me totally thinks Tony wouldn't like sports, because of all the boarding schools and stuff... But yeah! Rickrolling! Enjoy & review :) xox
