Sigruns POV

Brunhilda moved fast on me. Her body moved like the wind, fast and swift. One and two and one and two, our blades clashed and chimed their beautiful rhythm. She was clever to block the strike I mad at her head with my right arm, which then became locked in her powerful grip. Next thing I knew I was thrown to the floor. I couldn't help but smile at her playfully as I got to my feet, blocking the punches she threw at me. The two of us yielded when our blades rested at each other's throats. Laughter roared through the training room, we admired our similar motions and cleverness. Our training sessions rarely ended in a draw. "Well done sister." My General looked pleased with me. "I'm impressed with your improvement." I nodded to her compliment, moving my ponytail from over my shoulder.

"Thank you, General," I replied. Placing my sword back into its sheath. It was a hot day, beautiful as always. It was at times of quiet like this when I take moments to admire the beauty that my sisterhood and I have kept safe that I feel how much of a purpose I have. My breathing was heavy as I turned back to my General. "Up for a rematch?"

"Another time." She replied moving over to the archway that led down to the quad where many of our other sisters were training. She gazed upon them with such praise in her blue eyes. She leaned into me as I hugged her from behind, my lips pressed against her neck. She hummed happily at my actions, she always loved how I would make the first move. "Hard to keep your hands off me eh?"

"What can I say our very irresistible. And I love the attention." I kept her close as I kissed her softly, running her skin against mine. "But maybe you should let some of our sister train one on one with you." She caught me by surprise when I collided with the floor again and Brunhilda climbed on top of me, pinning me beneath her and locked her eyes on me. "But you're my favorite sparring partner, Captain." She pressed her forehead against mine, our lips brushed softly against each other until they locked. Her lips were soft where mine were rough. I cupped her head in my hands, loving the feeling of her soft blonde hair, I didn't even feel her hand move to the back claps of my shirt at first.

"General." Both of us froze when we heard Lieutenant Heva from the archway. Our eyes were set on her, I found it funny seeing her upside down from where I was laying she was just as stern looking as ever. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but His Majesty has summoned you." Brunhilda sighed heavily in disappointment to hear this. Her eyes turned back on my own before she kissed me again. I took the hand she offered to help me back up to my feet and watched her begin to follow Heva. Before she left she took me by the arm and whispered softly in my ear.

"Meet me later." I only nod excitedly, my heart racing as my lover left.
