I wasn't going to post this but my sister told me I should, so… well, here you go. I guess if she thought it was enjoyable maybe you can too! ^-^

Yuki clenched his fists. He hated his life. No, he despised it. Everyone around him was happy. He was left out of their little circle. Left in the dark ─ literally.

His mother had rejected him, his own mother. What good was he, if even his mother hated him?

His brother simply brushed him off without a second thought. And everyone else didn't even know he existed. He had tried to make friends with Kyo but Kyo had made it plain to see he didn't want to be friends with the "damn Rat'.

He had had other friends but they had forgotten him. They passed him in the hallway all the time but they didn't even spare a glance. It wasn't their fault but couldn't they at least acknowledge his existence? They'd done it before so why couldn't they now? The first time must have been out of pity. They were never going to be his friend again and that was just how it was.

The only one who loved him was Akito. And Yuki didn't even know if he wanted that kind of love. It was abusive, painful love. Yuki honestly couldn't say whether or not he wanted Akito's love. Sure, that was the only attention he received but that kind of attention wasn't to be desired.

Even now, he knew the dark room awaited him. It was his past, present, and future. He was destined to be in that darkness forever. Destined to forever hear Akito's harsh words whispered into his ear.

"Yuki," Kureno said entering the room where Yuki had been sitting. "Akito is calling for you."

A bolt of fear ran through Yuki. "D-don't make me go. Please." The words were lifeless, they had no emotion. Even so, they were filled with anguish and fear.

"…I'm sorry."

Yuki ran to Kureno and clutched his leg. "No! I can't go back in there! He'll… he'll…" Yuki couldn't even say the dreaded words. It hurt to even think of them. "Don't make me go!" Hot tears ran down his cheeks.

Kureno bent down and stroked Yuki's hair. "I can't defy him. You know that. You have to go."

Yuki looked up at Kureno with one last ounce of hope but lost it as soon as he saw Kureno's regretful face. There really was no way out of it. Just like all the other times. "Y-yes.…"

Yuki followed Kureno as he led him to the room again. This was his life. It was never going to change. No one was going to save him. He might as well accept it.

Well, I hope you like it! Maybe you could tell me in a review? I'd love you for it!
